BVBD welcomes Andrew Burn for The Baroque Experience: Historical Bassoons @ BVBD, a series of masterclasses devoted to historical bassoon and matters related to early music performance. This is not an introductory session. The Baroque Experience: Historical Bassoons @ BVBD is offered in person only and registration is limited. Watch the video for more information.

Daily IN-PERSON masterclasses on matters relating to Early Music performance include:

reed making
improvisation & ornamentation
national styles
solo repertoire
orchestral excerpts

Participants must bring their own historical bassoon, pitched at A=415hz

Participants will also be encouraged to engage in other masterclasses and performance opportunities available at BVBD. Jo Ann says, "Bring your modern bassoon, too!"
